Services

Clients come to me with their product ideas, and I tell them what features will work, what features won't work, and whether they should even make the product in the first place.

Domain Expertise

  • iPad - I tapped programmers and artists from Elance to build my own iPad app. This is the platform I'm most excited about right now.

  • Android - I managed the development and marketing for a $100K-budget Android app. Android is my personal phone.

  • Facebook - Facebook is the largest multiplayer lobby now. It's changing the world, but not everybody knows how to profit from it.

  • Web - Looking to create the next Google? I worked there once. I'm also a start-up addict. The desktop web is where I spend the most amount of time.

  • iPhone - I have a stable of iPhone apps I developed for myself and for clients. One of them was featured by Apple.

  • BlackBerry - I provided BlackBerry strategy consulting for a big location-based services player.

  • Other Products - I think, blog, and tinker with all sorts of products all the time. I helped a client model a home-automation product, and I made a prototype for a new kind of skateboard.

Why Phil Dhingra?

In 2009 and early 2010, I was a generalist at Mutual Mobile, the leading iPhone and app development company in the world. I helped hire out their development staff, as well as project manage Android and BlackBerry development. I consider the experience a front-row seat to the mobile app revolution, and as a result, I've learned what works and what doesn't.

I also program on the side. In addition to my own stable of apps, I programmed and designed the Creative Whack Pack for the iPhone, which was the No. 1 app in the Business category and featured by Apple.

I graduated in 2004 from Stanford with a Bachelor's in Mathematical and Computational Sciences. Before going into app development, I did web and video game design. In 1998, I won Adobe's "Design Award" in the international web design contest ThinkQuest.
